About the Play
A dramedy written specifically for teen actors, The Locker Next 2 Mine is ideal for high school, college or advanced middle school performers. It is available both as a full-length play (80-90 min), as well in a one-act version (35-45 minutes) that is perfect for competitions & festivals. It’s easy to produce, with minimal technical requirements & a flexible cast of 14-40+ performers (8-25+ females, 5-20+ males).
Synopsis
Alisa arrives at a new high school in the middle of the year to find her locker next to a shrine for a popular lacrosse player who’s died in an auto accident, and her school in a state of nonstop mourning. But as Alisa digs deeper, she discovers another loss that no one talks about, even as it’s left many of the school’s students trying to pick up their own pieces.
